Have you ever came home after a long and stressful day and just poured a glass of wine or opened a beer and lay down on the couch? You know that wonderful feeling when you start relaxing, THAT is the feeling you get when you participate in doing a hobby.
Researchers have shown over and over again that having a hobby reduces your stress and health-wise, having a hobby is much more healthy than using alcohol to reduce your stress and it is definitely healthier for your pocket.

Whether you are piled up at work or just too busy at home with husband or wife and the kids, take a break once in a while and spend time doing a hobby. A hobby should be something you love and enjoy doing. Lets just think about it for a second – if you work everyday, the whole day and come home and just keep working, you will definitely crash someday. No I don’t mean literally, but physically and mentally. A Hobby is a good distraction from the real world.

Daily you have challenges at work and as we all know work-related challenges cause stress. Why not just participate in new stress-free challenges. When doing a hobby and you stumble on new challenges, you don’t have to feel bad about yourself for doing it wrong the first time because you are learning something new and practice makes perfect!

Lets take for example candle making, if you do candle making as a hobby you can sell the candles you are making or you can host workshops and share your passion with others.
